Dave headlined the 2011
Chicago Blues Festival and also played the 2012 Chicago Blues
Festival's Tribute to Hubert Sumlin.
2010 Highlights included Dave's performance at the
New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival with Jimmy Johnson.
European tours with appearances in Germany, Denmark, Belgium, France,
Spain, Switzerland and Poland. Highlights included
Dave's return to the Lucerne Blues Festival and performances in
Barcelona and Warsaw.
Dave and his band were featured on the award winning DVD: Delmark
Records 55th Anniversary: It Ain't Over. Winner of the National
Blues Award (BMA) for Best Blues DVD.
2009 Highlights included Dave's performance
the NAMM show in Los Angeles with Steve Freund and Chicago performances
with Lurrie Bell, Billy Flynn, Jeff Parker and Jimmy Johnson.
2008 Highlights included performances in
Switzerland, Germany and France including shows on the French Riviera.
2007 Highlights included Specter returning to
Hawaii and performing at
Wiamea Falls Park and the Red Elephant with The Dynamic Shuffle Kings.
Dave Specter's Blues Jazz Summit debuted at Chicago's Millennium Park
with a 12 piece band in front of a crowd of 5000 fans.
Specter hosted the jam stage at the Chicago Blues Festival for the
second consecutive year performing with many special guests including
Steve Freund, Kenny Smith, Aron Burton, Eb Davis & Harlan Terson.
Specter performed with Robert Cray at The College of DuPage in Illinois
and returned to Mexico performing in Puebla with the Blues Divas
featuring Katherine Davis, Sharon Lewis and Peaches Staten.
2006 Highlights included 2 tours of Mexico with
appearances at The 10th Mexico City Blues Festival and the Ruta 61
Specter also returned to Switzerland where he performed at the Geneva
Blues Summit with R&B caravan, Lurrie Bell and Sugar Ray & the
Specter hosted the jam stage at The Chicago Blues Festival performing
with many special guests including Calvin "Fuzz Jones, Willie "Big
Eyes" Smith, Aron Burton an many others.
Specter also produced and performed at the Weber Grill Blues & BBQ
Festival in Chicago with Tad Robinson, Koko Taylor & Lonnie Brooks.
2005 Highlights included a performance at The Geneva Blues Summit in
Switzerland w/ Steve Freund, Harlan Terson & Mike Schlick.

2005 also saw Dave touring London and Southern England w/ The Daniel
Smith Blues Band.

Chicago's 5 best blues concerts of 2004.
In October 2004 Dave performed 2 weeks at The Lionel Hampton Room in Le
Meridian Etoile in Paris, France w/ Jimmy Burns, Rob Waters, Marty
Binder & Nora Jean Bruso
In January 2004 Dave Specter
toured England with top British blues band Sonny Black and the Dukes

Dave and Sonny were invited to perform at the BBC London
Studios and were interviewed on the Paul Jones national blues radio

was a huge success! Thanks to all of those who attended.
Dave, Rob Waters & Marty Binder also performed at the Best
Buy stage at both the 2002 & 2003 Chicago Blues Festivals.

The June 2003 European tour with B.B & the
BluesShacks was a great success. Highlights included performances
in the Swiss Alps, Luxembourg and Germany.
